Attorney Details

Mr. Werber is a true advocate and scholar.  Since obtaining his Juris Doctor from Cornell Law School in 1997, he has practiced law in Colorado.  Initially focusing on general civil litigation and employment law, Mr. Werber has expanded his practice to include insurance defense and coverage, construction litigation, hospital and professional liability, commercial litigation, and appellate practice.  As part of his professional-liability practice, he is a recurring guest speaker to nursing students regarding risk-management and liability issues unique to their professional careers.  Mr. Werber frequently provides insurance and noninsurance clients with counsel and opinions on coverage and claims-handling matters, including litigating these matters in declaratory-judgment and bad-faith lawsuits.  He has been retained as an expert witness in litigation relating to insurance coverage and claims handling, and also provides assistance to clients in drafting policy language and endorsements to address legal developments and new coverages.   He has utilized his legal skills in Colorado’s state courts, as well as in federal courts throughout the Rocky Mountain region.  Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Werber was an associate at Stevens, Littman & Biddison, L.L.C. (1997 – 1999), Burg Simpson Eldredge Hersh & Jardine, P.C. (1999 – 2001), and Benezra & Culver, L.L.C. (2001 – 2003).
